It’s time. The month, the year, and the decade are all coming to an end, but it’s hardly the end of good times. Take yourself, your family, and your friends on a stroll through the Galleries of Sisters on the Fourth Friday, Dec. 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. It will be a time to ring out the old and get ready for the New Year.

Hood Avenue Art is once again showcasing “Small Wonders.” These perfectly sized and priced art pieces are promoted during November and December. Meet the artists; hear live music, and sample light refreshments.

At Gary Cooley’s Collection Gallery, Gary has special pricing on his sculpture kits for kids, a year-round favorite activity for family company.

Clearwater Gallery will be featuring the entire gallery of artists, including Sarah B. Hansen, Garth Williams, Vicki Shuck, and Elizabeth Ganji.

Say “Hello” to and congratulate Ed and Kathi Beacham at Beacham’s Clock Company, chosen by the Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce as Business of the Year.

Sisters Gallery and Frame Shop will have a new pencil drawing by Mike Stasko, framed silk print by Wendy Birnbaum, and pastels of Northeastern Oregon landscapes by Antonia Carriere. Friends and fans of Kimry Jelen can pick up her 2020 Calendar, and choose from her new (and old favorite) note cards.

Wildflower Studio will be celebrating the holidays with wine, appetizers and art this Fourth Friday! Stop by and enjoy the season.

The art of the SHE Project is continuing in Good Day Café at Bedouin. The paintings and collages created by local artists were sold and auctioned to benefit Saving Grace, a women’s emergency shelter and support center in Bend. Saving Grace is often the proverbial “last straw” when women in troubled relationships have no place else to turn. Although the art is spoken for, generous donations will be accepted to benefit Saving Grace.

Antler Arts is featuring the fantastic feathered jewelry of Kristi Moomey, and the writing of Outdoor Author Gary Lewis. Wines by Faith, Hope and Charity Vineyards are featured.

Sisters Cascade at 150 W. Cascade, is featuring “Unchained With Love,” jewelry that contains a link of a chain from a dog set free by Fences for Fido, a Northwest nonprofit. All proceeds from the sale of these items, designed and made by Sana Hayes, are donated to the organization.

This will be the last art stroll for the Jill Neal Gallery, as Jill will be closing the first of January, moving to online sales and enabling her to paint full time. Since the gallery will be closing, there will be some terrific sales. Stop in and see the new work, and save big time on the old! SAA will miss Jill, the fine wine and chocolates, and the happy gatherings of Wild (but Tasteful) Women!

The final Quick Draw of 2019 will take place this month, with two $50 gift certificates to  participating artwalk galleries. Sisters Arts Association, which sponsors the monthly event, welcomes new artists, supporting businesses and art patrons for 2020, online at sistersartsassociation.org, or at Sisters Gallery and Frame Shop. Visit as many galleries as you like, and sign up one time per gallery.

SAA wishes to thank its current members, galleries, business sponsors, and patrons for their support as we conclude our fifth year. Special thanks to the 2019 Quick Draw sponsors, ZoselHarper Realtors and R.A. “Dick” Howells Company, LLC; and to Sisters Saloon and Hayden Homes for supporting this monthly event.
