HOW WE HAPPENED
The Sisters Arts Association was formed in 2015 by a group of artists and supporters that believe the arts are an important part of a healthy community, an essential component of its culture and a stimulus to a vibrant economy.
OUR VISION
The Sisters Arts Association is a creative community dedicated to the promotion of the arts as an important and indispensable part of Sisters’ economy, culture and life.
OUR MISSION
Our association exists to provide its community with a unified voice for the promotion, nurturing and enriching of the arts, to create a spirit of togetherness among artists, and to establish Sisters as a destination, art centric, community.
The Sisters Arts Association became a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation to provide a structure that could further the growth of its membership, activities, culture, education and community spirit.
Our three year goals are:
* Contribute to arts education and nurture the arts in the schools and community
* Increase the collective voice of artists and the arts within our community
* Reach Out, contribute and cooperate with City Government on community enhancements
* Collaborate to the benefit and enrichment of all the arts represented in our community
