Welcome! My name is Karen Thomas and I started Toriizaka Art out of a desire to share my love of art with others. I lived in Asia for 25 years and one of the passions I shared with my family was collecting art during our family travels. For years, friends who saw our unique and eclectic collection asked me to help them source works to assist in building their own collections. Since opening our doors in early 2006, we have welcomed thousands of art lovers into our salon style gallery space, originally in central Tokyo.
Most of our patrons come to us by word of mouth and many have become life-long friends. Art displayed on their walls and in the various collections we’ve curated, has fueled interest in our website and our sales have been to collectors around the world.
Our goal continues to be to represent talented artists throughout the world and introduce their creative genius in a tranquil, no pressure environment. We strive to make each experience positive, rewarding, and memorable and our greatest pleasure is knowing that our clients have chosen art that speaks to them.
We are happy to assist with local corporate and private client installations and art consultancy services including commissions. Domestic and international delivery is available.
