I am a visual artist at my core. Over the years I have produced collected works in oil and watercolor. I am also published as a fine art, landscape and portrait photographer.
In the autumn of 1965 Linda packed all of her worldly possessions into her little red Volkswagen, and with her baby boy, Aaron, left Portland, Oregon and headed south to Berkeley, California, where they would make a new and lasting home.
Young and so very brave.
Over half a century, Linda was mom, art student, illustrator, painter, photographer, traveler, grandmother, teacher, and student again. She fell in and out of love more than once, and worked as a traveling saleslady for an art school while earning a BA and MFA in painting. Linda became a life-long practitioner of oil and watercolor painting.
After all that time, energy and love she put forth for family and Bay Area friends, she sold my studio home and moved back to Sisters, Oregon and found a house I could afford that would work as a studio and began exploring.
Linda is still curious, still working and studying, drawing and painting, clouds, light, trees, grasses and water. She tries every day to make beautiful paintings of this ragged, rugged landscape, sharing the wonder that surrounds her.
