Caroline Stratton Crow
Caroline Stratton Crow has lived in the Sisters area, on-and-off, since the 1970s. She’s an avid horse person, believing in their power to heal and contribute to the creative mind.
Her professional career was as a psychotherapist working with couples, families, and individuals. She is an avid horse person, and is trained in equine assisted psychotherapy.
Caroline is now concentrating on her creative side through paints and other media. She draws inspiration from the natural world, her spiritual explorations, and her horses. Her body of work includes watercolors, acrylics, and three-dimensional pieces, such as horses and masks.
“For me, symbolic imagery – both real and imagined and found in the natural world – pays an important part in her work,” she says. “As a therapist, astrologer, and artist, the world of symbols plays an important role. Each of us is truly a creator with each breath.”
Her work is available at Sisters Gallery and Frame Shop.
